Running

This morning Willow was having an apple for breakfast, and handed me one.  I said “No thanks” and she replies, “Why?  Are you not a fan of apples?”

Later, when I was dropping the girls off at daycare, Jessica’s Mom was standing beside us and said to Jessica, “I have to run!”.  Willow turns to her and says “My Mommy runs too!” to which Jessica’s Mom replied “Well I wish I ran like your Mommy, but I mean that I have to run to work.” Willow then turned to me and whispered, “Is she going to run to Mississauga?”

So much fun

This weekend the girls were full of beans, and seemed to have endless energy. Willow likes to make up games, and Hailie loves to play them. On Sunday morning, Willows game involved running around the house in a circle, screaming and giggling. Hailie thought this was a fantastic game, and ran after her sister, lap after lap. They were both screaming “I am having fun! I am having fun!” After awhile, both of the girls stopped for a bit of a break and started to do a puzzle. When Willow was ready to go again, she jumped up and started running laps, yelling “I am having fun! I am having fun!”, only this time, Hailie didn’t follow her. Suddenly Willow stopped dead in her tracks, turned around to see us all staring at her, and said “Ok. I will have fun later.”
