Today I drove the girls to preschool on my way to work for the first time. We went through the Tim Horton’s drive through on the way, and while in line, Hailie asked, “Mommy sandwich?” I said, “No, just coffee”. “Oh, coffee hot. I fries?”, she asked. “No, sorry sweetie, they don’t have fries here, and you will get a snack once you get to school”, I replied.
We left Tim Hortons, and started driving to preschool, when Hailie exclaimed, “Oh, fries there! There it is! I found it, yay!”. Of course, she was pointing at the McDonalds sign in the distance. I was hoping THAT day would never come!
