This weekend Hailie was a little overtired because she had spent more time playing dolls in her room than napping. By Sunday afternoon she was falling apart, and crying over little things. During one random crying outburst I bent down and said “Hailie, do you rememeber what we just talked about?” She looked back at me blankly. “When you are upset about something, instead of crying about it, you can come and talk to Mommy about it instead, ok?” and she replied in typical Hailie fashion, “You wanna talk about not going to bed?”
