The kids after the shoe store trip
Today I took the girls to the shoe store to get new running shoes. I figured now that they are 4, it probably wouldn’t be too bad to take them to the store by myself. As soon as we got into the store, the girls had their boots off and were pulling shoes off the shelf to try on. Willow went straight for the boys shoes, and Hailie was all over the dress/party shoes.
New Shoes
It didn’t take Willow long to find the pair she wanted; A pair of Spiderman shoes that light up. Hailie wanted party shoes, sandals, flip flops, or women’s high heels, and wasn’t taking no for an answer. I was about to abort the whole trip when suddenly Carrie, Jack and Sara walked into the store. Now we had 4 kids (2 of which alternated tantrums) , 2 parents, and one very loud aisle in Payless. Hailie finally agreed to try on a pair of Dora runners, and we were done after a very long hour.
